Welcome to my blog; mainly on gentrification in Washington, D.C with additional assignments from the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism’s class ASCJ 200: Navigating Media in the Digital News Age.

I am Ellice Danielle Ellis, student journalist with background/interest in African American culture, hip-hop music, social media and advocacy. I currently study journalism, with an interest in radio, and music industry, at the University of Southern California.


At USC I intern for KXSC radio, serves a reporter for USC’s Annenberg Radio News and write for USC’s student-run blog Trojans 360. I am  member of the USC Women’s Leadership Society and the USC National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ), where I serve as the Co-Director of Events and Promotions.
